COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
Our office continues to take precautions to decrease the risk of spreading COVID 19 to patients and the community at large.
COVID Symptom Screenings
Your osteopathic appointment involves close contact between you and Dr. Lytle-Vieira.
Each patient has their temperature taken as part of their vital signs.
Patients who aren’t feeling well, have covid/flu/cold symptoms, test covid positive, or have had contact with anyone with known or suspected covid are asked to reschedule their appointment. The cancellation fee is waived if you are within the 24 hour cancellation notice period.
Face Masks and Coverings
All persons over age 2 must wear a well fitting N95 or KN95 face mask over their nose and mouth at all times while inside the office, regardless of vaccination status or result of any recent COVID testing. Bandanas, scarves, neck gaiters, and balaklavas are not acceptable forms of face coverings.
Patients who refuse to wear a mask inside the office will not be able to see the doctor, and will be asked to leave the premises
Your mask should not have vents/valves.
Dr. Lytle-Vieira has received five vaccines against COVID 19, and wears an N-95 mask at all times while in the office.
Cleaning and Ventilation Procedures
A high capacity HEPA air filter is used inside the office at all times.
Office windows are opened between patients to bring in fresh air from outside.
All surfaces, medical equipment, electronics, and instruments inside the office are thoroughly disinfected before and after each patient.
We ask each patient to use hand sanitizer upon arrival in the office, and throughout the visit as often as they wish
Dr. Lytle-Vieira uses hand sanitizer frequently during each patient visit.
Companion Guidelines
Adult patients may bring one companion inside the office, if they desire. If the patient is a child, only one parent/guardian is permitted inside the office with the child.
